weird kinks
I've just realised that in all my fandoms and in all of the various cartoons,movies and comics that i've seen or read,i have invariably gravitated towards those characters whose eyes are in some way covered. For example:Dangermouse,Scott Summers,Fudou Takuma. Eyepatches are SEXY. EDIT:I also find myself drawn to tall lanky boys who smoke. |

Den Lever!
Inte ett enda inlägg sen juni 2006?Ahahahahaaa*känner sig snopen* Så vad ska jag skriva om? Med tanke på att många av mina tidigare inlägg handlade om filmer fortsätter vi med det. Guillermo del Toro har nu sällat sig till mina andra favoritregissörer med filmen Pan's Labyrint,en mycket våldsam,mycket sagolik historia om den elvaåriga flickan Ofelia som efter spanska inbördeskrigets slut flyttas till en gammal väderkvarn därför att hennes sadistiska styvfar kräver att hans son ska födas nära honom. Hon träffar en faun som hävdar att hon en gång var prinsssa i den underjordiska världen och om hon kan slutföra tre uppdrag så kommer hon att återvända dit. DEN HÄR FILMEN ÄR UNDERBAR.Det finns inte tillräckligt med superlativer för att beskriva hur mycket jag tycker om den här filmen(att den sen inte fick en oscar för bästa utländska film gör inte så mycket)gå och se den OMEDELBART. I LOVE Morvan&Munuera.I lovelovelove them to squishy bits.Because they are,at least in my opinion,the best creative writer/artist combo to work on the Spirou series since Tome&Janry defuncted after Luna Fatale(I'm ignoring Machine qui réve.) They(M&M)have a wonderful way of telling a story,using characters who have been used multiple times,and making it fresh and intriguing and also connecting their own story to those penned by other authors. Gwaasaahhhh.....! Should have updated on the movie thing.Nuts. well,as expected Howl's Moving Castle was brilliant.My mother agrees with me and she doesn't even watch anime. The reviews in the press have also been generally positive. Beautiful colors,cinematography,seiyuu,just GORGEOUS. In my opinion the movie was much better than Wynne-jones' book. But the story could also have benefited from faster pacing. All in all i think it should be oscar-nominated. |

Yesterday i had an impromptu IA maraton,so today i of course had to go dig up on the Hollywood remake(Boo,hiss!) Seems like Martin Sheen will play the role of Sam and Jack Nicholson will star as SP Wong,whereas i think that Danny DeVito and David Caruso would have fit the roles much better. Don't even get me started on Damon&Dicaprio versus Andy&Tony! Definitely saving the remake for rental. |

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!! I shouldn't really be laughing but it so serves the bastard right! To elaborate,my sister's boyfriend is an electrical mechanic. And i have now inconvertible proof of what an absolute peabrain he is. Observe scenario:As he was performing some obscure electrical fitting his hand brushes against a live wire resulting in him electrocuting himself.He is rushed to the hospital where he lingers between life and death for the next twentyfour hours.Unfortunately,he pulled through. Now as to why the electricity wasn't cut,i can only refer to his boundless stupidity. |
